The “Set Screws” are a type of metallic fastener that is generally designed to secure/guard one object within another one. These are also known as ‘Blind Set Screws’, they are generally headless with helical threads which extend throughout the screw body. The screw can be easily passed through a fine threaded hole in the outer object, and is fastened against the inner object to prevent relative motion between the two moving parts. The blind screw has internal grooves which can be driven by an internal-wrenching hand tool like hex wrench. Set Screws are available in various metals like aluminium, titanium and steel.
